We had very little work done and we sat down to listen carefully disk Indio Solari. Behold our conclusions

Carlos "El Indio" Solari released their second album - post-Brown - this time not as Fundamentalists Air Conditioning (name of the band that accompanies it) but it is implied in a paralanguage, which is a material "Indian". Interestingly the album is called PORCO REX, something anyone can easily associate with the initials "PR". But The Indian acknowledged that - beyond that they are not passed over this detail - referring to sexual paraphernalia of the media and society.
The album includes thirteen songs and presented in the same format as above (emulating the leaflets of the programs of museums); has the distinction of carrying his portrait on the cover - something that had never happened in his career. Obvious that the originality of Solari tried to camouflage it under caricature or work elements of a digital image editor.
Fundamentalists Air Conditioning consists of: Gaspar and Balthasar Banegas Comotto on guitars, Marcelo Torres on bass, and Martin Carrizo Hernan Arramberri on drums and percussion, always sweet vocals of Deborah Dixon and replacing the "Guest Artist" appears Monsieur Sandoz , who took care of everything else (the pseudonym was inspired by the name of the laboratory where, in the middle of last century, Hofmann accidentally discovered LSD).
Throughout the 13 tracks Solari recreates different situations within their compositions. While nearly all have the distinction of starting with a battery electrifying from start to finish has to be significant in terms of energy emanating from the disk.
With a meticulous production work, which also lacks the witty production of The Treasure of the Lambs, this material is no less admirable. The arrangements vary in each song and try to accommodate the needs of the letters.
Arguably, some of them deal with the heartbreak and frustration of living together, in cases like "Bare Branches" (a reunion that is unsuccessful), Soup of Tears, Flight to Sydney, let us drink more Lindas Cups that we (where clearly announces "This is not just a bitter anthem of love") or the radiant hitt of Flight 956 (in which we include the poet's sad farewell at the airport).
The only song of love - which is even prophesied by Solari himself - is "When The Sun Dies." A beautiful rock ballad dedicated to "his partner".
Then there are the issues on which the Indian puts on his suit sniper and start shooting everywhere truths and accusations. From songs that seem to be introspective and reflect on their personality as Poison Patient (where he sings / whispers a duet with the ineffable Andres Calamaro) or Martinis and Tafiroles and Why am I not want God.
Finally there are those verses in which a receiver Solari focus and begins to shoot at his target, as seen in the opening track on the disc. "He called on the radio always issues," a Rockito that since the beginning of the battery shows sweeping the Indian proposal for this material: Well energizing. Telling the story of "a prim type, a doodle that was playful and gil is the penguin." If we allow the interpretation, the story might be telling the misfortune of a kid who thought the beating of the neighborhood and that "over time the fence bit" by a trap of his peers. The story of the boy to ride it a tragedy that will never be published in the media.
As in "You're running out of silver bullets" where, with questioning to the receiver, the poet attacks with better weapons and with his finger Inquisitor says each of his mistakes. No doubt this issue has a great personality and is a reflection of those old songs Ricoteras. Where you can see some reminiscences with Luzbelito, when at the beginning of the song is perceived sound "electricity" (the cry of the snaps).
You can also highlight the work of the vocals on this track. The whispering voice of an Indian "is charming, So Lovely" in the chorus receives a treaty completely different when he sings about the prose. Also, the howling pricked to which we are accustomed are not desired when vital essence screams: "It is lovely to feel that way."
Or - another issue that is routed to hit - "Tattoo" in which to take the permission to do a little nod to his influences with a powerful riff on the end moves as a "Lead Zeppelin".
Finally is the issue that gave name to the plate, Porco Rex amounts to a new generation of that Luzbelito to be a kind of spectrum has to comply with the cruelties of life in society. "This time Porco Rex is going to be carried away by his soul" but anticipates that it will use Solari bait. That will be the victim of what is to happen (or what's going on).
Indio Solari again fills an almost rock scene is not in these times. A composer committed to what he sees and points to strong feelings. With his prose always open to myriad interpretations and a remarkable music production work. While once claimed to have toyed with the possibility of taking to the stage as a trio, this work is clearly a musical texture played pretty elaborate, with two guitars intertwine continuously between melody and harmony, and even in some issues can hear three guitars and Flight 956.
Also encouraged with electronic drums, the zamplers, strum some guitar and now it's time to dress in suits and ties - pretending to be a regular guy - in order to fix some dates in the interior. But never forget that it takes a couple of years without coming to the capital.
Perhaps this is the album that you return to the arena so he can rattle the walls of the Monumental again.
