Who make up this duo of indie folk and electronica, did not meet until 2003. There were born in Iowa Bianca and Sierra in Hawaii. The Casady sisters were reunited in Paris after several years of growing apart to start an unusual mixture of styles but the balance is provided and pleasant music.

Bianca sings in a falsetto peculiar, is responsible for the extra sounds, Sierra plays guitar, piano, harp and soprano. The group usually includes different sounds of objects such as rattles and toys with animal sounds, Chinese flutes, boom boxes, personal shaping his sound. Fleet Foxes

Fleet Foxes is a band from Seattle (land of Hendrix and Kurt Cobain, among others). Led by the duo of Robin Pecknold songwriting and the band knew Skjelset Skyler made a great impact in just three years.

Its essence folk scene takes us back to the sixties than when artists like Bob Dylan, the supergroup Crosby, Stills & Nash or the actual Brian Wilson (Beach Boys) or the Incredible String Band wonderful works contributed to the genre.
Admirable vocal melodies quasi-choral arrangements, arrangements of mandolins and keyboards, plus the warm support of acoustic guitars and deep lyrics as seen in Your Protector or Mykonos, Fleet Foxes make a compelling proposition.

At a time when the Neo-Folk is giving delicious fruit, these guys were able to give the circuit a memorable contribution.

With only two EPs and debut extraordinary as was his self-titled album, Fleet Foxes were at the center stage. With a remarkable reception at Myspace.com (thousands of views - that multiply), a sense of the world press recognition (which do not stop extending their praise and some classics and cataloged century being born), is earned the respect of thousands of artists and it is quite possible that soon we and his early influences.

The Fleet Foxes are here to stay and surely, we will spend many years talking about and recommending their eponymous debut album in 2008.

A jewel of the new century that is worthy of heritage attached to the Folk-Rock of all time.
